Back in 2006 I was in Djibouti on a photo assignment and in between flights to film I had the chance to shoot some of the local stuff and visiting aircraft.

Astraeus arrived with their B757 G-OJIB
I waited for the push-back of this nice B737-200 from AVE A6-PHA operating for DAALLO.
This aircraft started it’s life with China Southwest as B-2512 but is now stored since 2013.
Next up was this AF Cargo

And of course, the reason I am in Djibouti… DAALLO’s IL-18
